To say I haven’t a clue as to how I wangled my way into 2005: Blogged would be a bit of a porky. Obviously Tim Worstall, the editor of the book, had heard of The Tinbasher via Harry’s Place and decided to doff his cap at business blogs by saluting this grand old dame.

Which is nice.

Some might argue that the idea of a load of blog posts scrunched up into a book is pretty pointless, but having been sent a copy I have to say it’s one of those things that works better than it should. Not only is the idea simple, it’s also not a bad way to sample the wares that some of Britain’s finest(?) blogging talent has to offer.

However, considering the the book seems to be more of a review of 2005 in blog posts, my addition seems a bit odd. The Tinbasher is hardly renowned for having its finger on the zeitgeist. There are also some pretty darned good bloggers in there including my mate Harry (of course).

You’ll find it taking up space in you local Waterstones or you can buy it direct from Amazon.
