The Victorians used to cover the 'ankles' of piano legs just in case the gentlemen of the day became engulfed with the horn. I also long for the days of the outside toilet and the second cabinet drawer down being utilised as a makeshift cot.

Hang a sign on the steel bedstead: "If this bed is creakin', don't come a-sneakin'" ... ?

Of course, it will not creak, but it has a firm, iron-clad grip on matrimonial reality: how hot can steel really get when the missus and I play hide the hot dog? Can I make whoopee with my hootchie mama, and cook eggs on it, from the friction generated? Is I guess what I'm lackadaisically driving at.

The bath water vessel? Or as us Manhattan hicks say: the scrub tub, wash bin, body lather lathe, or grime accumulator.

Did you know, children, that idiot pastors in AmerEureka used to preach against the acquisition of a scrub tub...saying it was naughty and demonic...because it forced you to see your seductively naked body too often?

Better to take a skinny dip in the creek, or crick, every Easter Eve and Memorial Day, maybe Christmas morning?

Recall when the whole family farted, spat, and blew their noses in the ONE single serving of scrub tub fluid, and by the time the youngest one climbed into the bathtub, it was far more filthy and disgusting than any grime that may have clung clumsily to one's body?

Cool bedframe, though of course the trick is in how the side rails attach (cause I doubt the wife would let me weld the whole thing together as one piece in the bedroom). Finally a solution to those wood slats underneith that keep falling down. The only change I'd make is to put feet on the bottom of the posts, so I don't end up with 2x2 holes punched through the carpet.
