Well I hope you’ve all had a belting New Year and feel infinitely more rested than I do. I managed to work both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, but at least I had a marvellous surprise when my good lady wife just turned up at the Shooters on New Year’s Eve unannounced.
You’d have thought this would’ve sparked Hollywoodesque scenes of unbridled excitement leaving no dry eye in the house, but this is me we’re talking about.
My first reaction after Stephanie had been surreptitiously smuggled into the pub having flown from Cleveland to Manchester via Chicago, Dublin and London was to ask her what the f@** she was doing there and if it had cost me seven pounds on the door to let her in.
I haven’t got where I am today by getting overly emotional when your wife turns up out of the blue to be with her beloved at the turning of the year.
Anyway, to more pressing things. You’ll notice we have a new look to the blog and you’ll also not notice that we nearly have a new look to the main Butler Sheetmetal site. It’s been a devil trying to coordinate all of this just recently, but we are getting there…..promise. There might be one or two more ‘looks’ to the blog until I’m finally settled, but I’m rather taken with this particular template if truth be told.
You’re more than welcome to chip in with your own two penneth worth aswell.

I wonder why WordPress claims that template tweaking is "not what WordPress is about".
Seems stupid to me. I can't add the Technorati "other blogs that link here" thingamajig to my WordPress blog.
