Typical. You complain about the amount of spam you have to deal with on a daily basis and the next thing you know you’re bombarded with the stuff in the comments boxes from unscrupulous pornographers.
I’ve removed them all and reset the comments settings so they have to be approved before they’re posted.
This is basically a temporary measure to deter these swine and all other comments are still more than gratefully received.

Woohoo! I came here courtesy of BlogExplosion, btw. I use MT, but I have a friend who uses WordPress and she’s been getting hammered by the idiot spammers lately. I’ll pass the link along to her. Thanks!

spam is spam and when you get it you can’t do a damn thing about but scream!
