There’s always more than one way to skin a cat and there’s also more than one way to cut a square hole in aluminium sheet.
Fourteen according to MakeZine.
Most of the methods are ideally suited for the DIYers amongst you, but you can never fault finding a decent laserer for numbers.

You two can duke it out if you want.
And aren’t the media swines for things like that, Nick?

I left out photoetching and rotary broaching (I mentioned CNC punch presses), what else did I leave out (always curious about new techniques)? They trimmed my article down to only 5 methods in the print edition anyway…
Glad you enjoyed it. You have a great blog.

He missed at least two. Actually I probably should have mentioned CNC punch tools as well, but that seems like a variation on the nibbler.

Small business blogs: A selection
Blogspotting asked for recommendations of small-biz blogs. The results ranged from a new Hollywood producer to a suburban Pittsburgh coffee shop.

Hi Paul,
How are you? I’m working on a story for Greenhouse Grower magazine on blogs. I don’t think many of our readers are familiar with the concept at all, and I want to tell them about corporate blogs. Can I e-mail you a few questions about your blog?
Please e-mail me if you’d like to chat .
Thanks,
Sara Tambascio
