DIY Tube Bender
Posted by Paul Woodhouse at January 10th, 2007

Whilst this guy doesn’t have any exact plans in relation to building said tube bender form scratch, he does have plenty of pictures, information and is more than happy for you to ask any questions via email.
As he points out:
There are No Plans for this bender, none now, and none later.
I want you to think freely and create.
So off you go to try and cobble one together.

If you follow the link in the post it states on the site that there are no available plans, unfortunately.
You’ll have to get creative.
can you send me more pictures of your bender. i use the old manual bender and yours looks much easier
kindly arrange to send us your complete product catalogue along with price-list to this address:Vedang R.Desai,Samarpasn,1st.Floor,Kocher-Street,Valsad-Pardi,Valsad-396001,Gujarat,INDIA,Phone:9879375304
Looks similar to the old verticle Carter Sheffield bender?, the bend will always be slightly flat – never perfect. Tube seam will always play a part – wrong way in and it will flatten more, especially with cheap sh** steel stock from India, china, etc. Its still a ardous pump action, limited to minimum 3footish gap (see pic above) ? no matter what – see sense. You can purchase elbow-tee (wider bolted/flush welded) fittings very cheap nowadays (Brundles, Lecky or similar?), far less than the hassle of perfecting a machine as above. No disrepect to the creator at all, very good indeed, tried similar stuff myself and figured out the hours/days/weeks wasted f***in about – cheaper to get done by precise rotary else where. Sorry if I might sound negative, just thinking possitive – of ease and cost!
