The latest from Butler Sheet Metal is that Matt has another new invention in the pipeline. I fully appreciate that I maybe shouldn’t share this before he patents it, but let’s hope it doesn’t get that far. However, I do expect a fully working prototype before the week’s out.
Matt’s a genius when it comes to realising a job for a customer. He very rarely makes mistakes, which is quite something in this game. It’s just that when he has less to do than normal, he starts dreaming up all manner of hair-brained concepts and ideas.
Here’s his latest as described to me by John via his last email:
PS Matt’s got a new invention – my god he doesn’t change. It’s a giant letterbox with a letter housing especially adapted for e-bay transactions. Basically not a bad idea as long as your neighbour doesn’t mind you knocking a 2′ hole in his wall, just to let your door open, that’s all. I’ve had three days of trying to talk him out of the idea.
I’ll let you all know when the boys go into mass production.
