I must confess to going a bit Homer Simpson over these beauties. I start to drool when I just look at them. I have no idea what I’d be like actually sat in one. They’re called a C-Station and manufactured by Bluebroc.
Bluebroc C-Station Computer Chair
I know my last post decried the art of DIY, but it would be a doddle for Butler Sheetmetal to cobble together the frame. My father-in-law is also a self-employed upholsterer, so the cushions would be a breeze. It’s either that or adapt an old dentist’s chair.

Although I do remember Matt once making a swinging-arm monitor stand for his computer out of mild steel once. We told him that it didn’t need to be armour plated, but he waved away our protests and fixed it to his chimney breast anyway. Not for long though. The monstrosity was that heavy it dragged two bricks out before teatime and left the monitor smashed to bits all over the fireplace.

I may just have to have a word with the boys at Bluebroc after all.
