I served my time as tinbasher at Henry Nuttall’s of Rochdale 1961 to 1966. During this time lots of footballs and rugby ball’s of varying sizes were made as “foreigners”, both from satin & mirror s/s, along with some from copper and/or brass.
Good to see hand skills still exist.

You stole my idea. I made one just like that for a welding competition back in 1992. Won first place too. It’s in the trophy case at Ogden tech. in Ogden, UT along with the blue ribbon I got.
