Well, it’s all done and dusted.
My little interview with and can be found at , the home of . It was all a bit touch and go when we realised that the dial up connection at the place where I’m staying couldn’t handle a recorded Skype session. Thankfully, Josh, Stephanie’s cousin, has a broadband connection to die for, and I managed to have Skype up and running and tested within ten minutes flat. Now if that isn’t a fairly good reason to use a free bit of kit, then I don’t know what is.
I have to say I was a touch nervous about the . I was worried about using relatively unknown software on an unknown computer; worried about what I was going to say and whether anybody would actually understand my dulcet tones; worried because I was doing an interview and worried because I had a daschund and a chihuahua running around me like Tom and Jerry on crack.
Apart from all that, I knew it was going to be a breeze.
Basically, I say basically 42 times in the first five minutes and throw in enough ‘so to speaks’ to sink an armada. The wife is still giggling, but also ensuring me that it was good for a ‘first time’. Hmmmmm – I’m sure she’s said that to me before, and I’m sure I felt equally as mortified.
However, a ten minute interview with The Tinbasher a does not make. So, I urge you all to listen to the rest of the show. and actually make an interesting pair to listen to and bounce off each other terribly well. I can see PBS syndication before the year end – no doubt.
As for my own delusions of broadcasting grandeur?
