I’m missing this blog at the moment. It’s a combination of things which has seen my postings seriously reduced of late. Firstly, I’m doing something around 60 hours a week up at the pub as our skeleton staff has been reduced to just me and the landlord. Obviously it’s a skeleton with brittle bones.

Secondly, I’ve got websites coming out of my backside. I try my darndest to slip this work in and around the boozer stuff, but I think it’s been a bit of a mistake to be honest. Hopefully things will change fairly shortly once a few phone calls have been made for staff reinforcements.

I’m also struggling for a decent internet connection at home. I’ve had to resort to sitting in Colne Library’s carpark to pick up their free wifi. But doing that almost feels like hi-tech vagrancy. Broadband Britain my arse.

But the good news is that Butler Sheetmetal has invoiced one of its best months ever this past January. I think it’s been a combination of the new website and Matt’s current quick-quote response time. Both John and Matt have remarked on the better class of enquiry we’ve been getting since the revamp – a couple of which I’ll be able to explain in more detail shortly.

At least it can’t be said things are dull!
