After last night’s putrid showing by those nonce chavs masquerading as footballers and Englishmen, I’m quite content to go native. I mean, who can fault having a couple of days off in November to stuff yourself silly with turkey for no apparent reason? Although, I do have a feeling it probably has something to do with seeing the back of us.
Anyway, if you’re on this side of the pond, Happy Thanksgiving, and if you’re on that side of the pond write a memo to Brian Barwick venting a full spleen.
Still, who cares when the biggest footballing story today is that Burnley have snagged the next Alex Ferguson as their new manager – Owen Coyle.
