If anybody has come here wondering why they can’t get through to us on the phone, there’s an awfully simple reason – the phone lines are down.
They aren’t just down for us but probably for the whole of Primet Hill. I know that next door either side are both sans telephone.
However, BT received notice of the problem some time in the early hours of Saturday morning.
I’ve just driven past the offending exchange and you can imagine the picture – one guy doing most of the work and another catching flies.
It’s certainly been a bad couple of weeks in relation to all of this kind of thing.
As it stands, we’re still capable of reading and responding to emails and ringing you, but not from work.
Plus, surely they can’t be down for that much longer?
UPDATE: The phones are being directed to John’s mobile for the time being and they were still working on the exchange at 9.37pm as I drove past this evening.
